New Years & Fun!!

Happy late New Years....Are you surprised I am blogging again? Me too...guess I have caught the bloggin' bug again.
I love grape jelly! anywho....
Our New Years Eve was WILD & CRAZY!! We welcomed the New Year @ 8:30 pm and were all in bed by 9:00, well except for Chuckles who had to work. We did have fun though...We played pictionary, hide-n-seek, duck-duck-goose, had a few mean games of UNO (Mabry won twice) and then did our party poppers and the count down. It was seriously a fun night!
On New Years Day we headed up to Snowbasin to do some fun sleigh riding. My whole family was there and it was a lot of fun. The hills were pretty mellow and you didn't even have to walk back up - you sat in a tube and they pulled you back up to the top. Even better right!! As we got there Mabry saw her cousins and took off to go down the hill w/ them. Chuckles and I were making our way to the top when we saw that it was Mabry's turn to go down...the paranoid mother that I am kept thinking she needs some help...I mean gripes, she isn't big enough to do that on her own...is she?? :) Chuck said she will be fine...then we see a tube come down the hill w/out anyone on it... te-hee...that was Mabry's tube. So I decided to grab a tube and walk up the hill so she didn't have to wait that long. Well they had extra tubes up there - (it would have been nice if someone would have told me that) they sent Mabry down on an extra tube. So while I was hiking my outta shape behind up the hill to rescue my poor little girl who didn't have a tube - she went down laughing all the way. I got to the top before I realized she had already went down. I know...jokes on me! We rode down as many times as we could before lunch and had so much fun. Ruby was playing at the bottom the entire time w/ grandma and grandpa. They wouldn't let you ride double and I wasn't about to send my baby down in a tube by herself! We ate lunch in the parking lot on our tailgates and had fun just hanging out as a family. Thanks mom and dad for the fun day!! It was a nice way to end the holidays! Here is a few pics!

The Cabin

We went up to the cabin w/ my mom and dad...this was back in Sept (I know...lots of catch up). The cabin is always great fun cuz you get to be dirty all the time and moms can't care that you are!! I remember going up to the cabin when I was Mabry's age so it is so much fun to be able to take her up there. We always see moose by the pond and have loads of fun roasting dogs and mallows. Ruby even liked it as long as she had a stick to chew on. tehee BTW: Savvy tried to attack these moose...funny dog!

Here are some more from San Fran. It was such a fun vacation...did I mention it is good people watching?? Chuck did almost get beat up by a guy/girl. He/she told Chuck he needed to loose weight. te-hee... so fun!! GREAT MEMORIES!!

Don't you wish you could just lay around like this? Seriously think about it. You would have all your friends and family in one place. You're SUPPOSED to be fat and if you get sick of someone you just swim away. Sign me up!!

Just Relaxing

this is random I know but I thought it was cute. Chuckles and his little girls relaxing.

Fun rainbow weekend!!

We had a pretty nice and relaxing Friday and Saturday. A little yard and house work and some haning out w/ the family. A pretty good weekend. I thought Sunday was going to be a normal Sunday. Go to church, big Sunday dinner and that's about it. I was so wrong....Here is the scoop on the rainbow weekend. Chuckles is in charge of doing the program for church, well....he left the battery to his laptop @ his office in Salt Lake. So he took off to SLC to get the battery (this was about 10:30 am - our church starts @ 1:00) and his car broke down. He called me and told me that the car broke down right by the Gay Pride Parade they were having in SLC. I started laughing and didn't believe him - I thought he was just joking. What are the odds right??Well, he wasn't joking and he wanted me to come and get him so he didn't get hit on!! So long story shorter...got the program to the church and loaded the girls into the truck and headed to SLC to see some rainbows. We had our car towed to our house and Mabry loved seeing all the bright colors in SLC. GRIPES!!
On a good note...baby Pete was born on Sunday. Congrats to Karson and Abby!!

Weekend stuff

Hope everyone had a good weekend!! Chuckles and I did outside and inside work this weekend. It was nice to get stuff done. I will admit that Chuckles did much more than I did...for once! tehe.
We finally built my closet so now all my clothes will be in one room. SOOOOO nice. LOVE LOVE LOVE IKEA for making things so easy to put together! Thanks Chuckles, for being so determined to get things done this weekend.
I needed to do a deep cleaning on the house. Does anyone else find it hard to keep the house clean? Chuck used to make fun of me cuz I would clean the house before bed. He used to say I was cleaning it for a robber to come in and see how clean the house was. Maybe this is my OCD kickin' in but it seriously made me sleep better.
I have given up trying to keep the house spotless and feel like if my kitchen table is clean that is good enough for me. Clean just makes me in a better mood! Anyone else?? I have much more to write but will wait to get pictures to show you. It is mostly of Mabes and how stinkin' CUTE she is. She kept us laughing ALL weekend. toodles for now!
